A large number of ancient mosaics have not reached us because they been destroyed by erosion, earthquakes, looting or even used as materials in newer construction. To make things worse, among the small fraction that we able to recover, many are damaged incomplete. Therefore, restoration and reconstruction play a fundamental role preserve cultural heritage understand cultures. This has traditionally done manually more recently using computer graphics programs but always humans. In last years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) made impressive progress generation images from text descriptions reference images. State art AI tools such DALL-E2 can generate high quality prompts take image guide process. august 2022, launched new feature called outpainting takes input an incomplete prompt then generates complete filling missing parts. this paper, explore whether innovative technology be reconstruct with Hence set reconstructed DALL-E2; results promising showing is interpret key features produce reconstructions capture essence scene.
